It's a case of mistaken identity; well, sort of- Miranda Kerr, best known as uber commercial Victoria's Secret Model has forgotten where the $ is and ventured into the world of high fashion editorial in the June/July issue of Numero. Shot by Greg Kadel and styled in everything from Burberry to Dolce by Patti Wilson, Kerr is virtually unrecognizable in the face while her pinup girl style of modeling remains the same. Who better to play a naughty nun I suppose than a girl who makes her living in her underwear?

While I say bravo to Kerr for being able to do what most models can't by swinging both ways (high end commercial/ high end editorial) I think she needs to keep in mind that there are no butts or boobs in fashion; pay attention to how the skinny girls pose.

Diamonds are girl's best friend?

Professional phone thrower and supermodel Naomi Campbell may be subpoenaed as a witness in the UN case against the exiled former president of Liberia, Charles Taylor. Taylor is currently on trial for war crimes committed during the Sierra Leone conflicts back in the 90's. He is being accused of giving rebels ammunition and weapons in exchange for diamonds.

Apparently at a dinner party at Nelson Mandela's home in 97' witnesses including actress Mia Farrow claim that Taylor gave Campbell diamonds. Campbell's agent at the time also corroborated this story. Campbell herself has declined to comment stating that she does not want to put herself or her family in any danger.
